Imagine growing up in a community where poverty, violence, and crime are everyday challenges. For many kids in Valparaíso, Chile and throughout the world, this is their reality. But at the Valpo Surf Project (VSP), we are rewriting the story. 

Through surfing, academics, and professional development, we provide the tools to improve mental and physical health, build self-esteem and self-efficacy, and strengthen social-emotional skills - equipping students to break cycles of poverty, access greater opportunities, and emerge as positive leaders in the world. The included “Student Journey in VSP” breaks down our work and life changing impact. 

Since 2010, over 1,300 young lives have been transformed through the Valpo Surf Project. This year alone, we’ve worked with over 300 students, providing consistent support to unlock their potential. Now, we are setting our sights on the future with a goal to double our impact in 2025.
